The South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee, Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners and the Palm Beach County Sports Commission will present an NFL Emerging Business Workshop on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. The event will be held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, 650 Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm Beach from 2 to 5 p.m.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide small businesses with training on how to gain business related to Super Bowl XLIV, which is coming to South Florida in 2010. Participants will hear directly from Super Bowl purchasing entities and engage in business-to-business networking.
The workshop will also provide participants with:
- Ways to prepare businesses for Super Bowl opportunities
- Business development programming
- Matchmaking opportunities
In order to participate in NFL Emerging Business opportunities, business owners must complete an online application, which can be found at www.SouthFloridaSuperBowl.com. The application must be submitted and approved by the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee by June 30, 2009. Businesses must be certified as a small-, minority- or woman-owned business by September 30, 2009.
