Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. is a good time to stop by the Palm Beach County Senior Center in Palm Beach Gardens. The center’s open house is a great opportunity to meet staff and enjoy the festivities. The event includes dancing, singing, demonstrations, refreshments, raffles, health information and free checkups. Admission is free.
Participants can rock to international music, belly dance, try tai chi and qigong, receive a facial demonstration, enjoy salsa dancing and listen to Dan Cove, the “Music Man.”
The North County Senior Center provides multiple learning and entertainment activities such as tap dancing, computer classes, bridge, canasta, mah jongg, language classes, oil painting and craftmaking.
