A ball field dedication in memory of Harry James Gribbin was held Friday, March 25, in West Boynton Park on Field #10.  County officials along with County Commissioner Shelley Vana unveiled a memorial plaque for members of the family, as well as friends attending the ceremony.

Mr. Gribbin, known affectionately as “Uncle Harry,” has left a legacy through his more than 20 years of volunteerism in our community that serves as an inspiration to us all. He was actively involved as a volunteer for local youth baseball, the Lantana Chamber and Junior Achievement.

May his spirit live on forever through the youth who play on this field.
