Commissioner Burt Aaronson recently attended the opening of the expansion of Daggerwing Nature Center, located in the South County Regional Park.  The new 5,000-square-foot addition features a new lobby, an exhibit hall, a laboratory, a classroom and new administrative offices.

“We care about the environment, we care about nature, and we care about learning here in South County Regional Park,” Commissioner Aaronson said, “and that’s what this is all about.”

Daggerwing is the second amenity to open as part of the major expansion that’s in progress at South County Regional Park, following the opening of Sunset Cove Amphitheater. The nature center is located at 11200 Park Access Road, west of Boca Raton.
