Commissioner Karen Marcus attended a Bioscience Land Protection Advisory Board meeting on Thursday, May 15 at Palm Beach County Community College’s Eissey Campus. The meeting was held in the school’s new 91,000-square-foot BioScience and Technology Complex.

Following the hour-long meeting, Commissioner Marcus and other board members toured the facility, which includes a wellness center, chemistry labs, bioscience classrooms, a tissue culture room and an instrumentation suite. The tour was led by PBCC’s Dean of Academic Affairs Edward Willey and Bioscience Director Dr. Libby Handel.
