Commissioner McCarty Addresses Leadership Group

On May 21, 2008, Commissioner McCarty spoke to approximately 30 members of the Boca Raton's Chamber of Commerce Leadership group as part of their annual Government Day.  The group convened in the Jane M. Thompson Memorial Chambers in the Governmental Center in West Palm Beach where the Commissioner provided them with some insight on her experiences as a local leader.  She also discussed current challenges facing local government and the importance of community involvement.
