PBC TV Channel 20 will provide live coverage of the Forum on Economic Stimulus Funding on Friday, May 15. The forum will be held on the 6th floor of the Governmental Center at 9 a.m.
The Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County developed this forum as a way to communicate with the public information regarding the economic stimulus funds and how they will be distributed locally.
Three Palm Beach County representatives who will be speaking during the forum including Ed Lowery, Director of Housing and Community Development, Human Services Division Director Claudia Tuck and Head Start Director Carmen Nicholas. Some topics to be discussed during their presentations will be the county’s Neighborhood Stabilization plan and Community Development Block Grant allocation.
Other organizations that will be speaking during the forum include Workforce Alliance, the Department of Children and Families, the Department of Health, the School District of Palm Beach County and the United Way of Palm Beach County.
