Palm Tran Announces Link Service Changes

Palm Tran’s new route deviation service, The Link, is quickly becoming a success. A new route, the Coral Link, will begin operating on July 9. The Coral Link will operate on Wednesdays, 9:05 a.m. to 5:35 p.m., between Hypoluxo Road and Lake Avenue via U.S. 1 and Alternate A1A. The Coral Link replaces the Orange Link, which will be discontinued after July 9.  The Orange Link served Congress Avenue and Belvedere Road to Northpoint Center at 45th Street via Village Boulevard and Westgate Avenue. In the coming months the following Link service changes will be implemented:

• The Blue Link, which serves central West Palm Beach, will be modified to terminate service at the VA Medical Center.  Service will continue to operate every hour.
• The Magenta Link in Boca Raton will be replaced by the Brown Link, which will operate in the Boynton Beach area via Woolbright and Jog roads and Boynton Beach Boulevard to the Caridad Center.
• The Turquoise Link will provide service to the Greenacres area.
