Commissioner Abrams Receives Briefing from Emergency Officials

	Assistant County Administrator/Public Safety Director Vince Bonvento explains the map and organizational flowchart for the county's hurricane preparedness plan to Commissioner Abrams.

On Thursday, June 4, 2009, Commissioner Abrams visited the Emergency Operations Center for a tour of the facilities and a briefing by the county’s emergency management officials.  The officials provided Commissioner Abrams with an overview of the county’s hurricane preparedness plans and procedures. A tour of the facility provided an opportunity to observe the intricacies of this state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center and meet the people working behind the scenes.
