Governor Charlie Crist paid a visit to the county’s Hagen Ranch Road Branch Library on June 24 to meet with area residents and sign a new bill into law. Senate Bill 1196, which empowers condominium owners to make their own decisions about their associations, takes effect July 1. On hand to greet the governor were Commission Chairman Burt Aaronson and several local state lawmakers.
