Commissioner Attends Children’s Museum Celebration

On June 24, Commissioner Abrams joined local Boca Raton officials at the Children's Museum 30th anniversary at 498 Crawford Blvd. in Boca Raton.  The celebration included the unveiling of Mizner's Dream Castle and the groundbreaking for the future Rickards House with Jason's Music Hall.

The museum’s expansion project will include a replica construction of the 1897 Rickards House which was the first house built in Boca Raton for Captain T.M. Rickards. The replica will be composed of exhibit and program spaces, Jason's Music Hall, as well as a full resource library, meeting areas and administrative offices.
