The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department recently published its Annual Water Quality Report. It is being mailed to the utility’s customers with their water bills.
The brochure features results from laboratory testing of the utility’s drinking water. The test results are summarized in easy-to-read charts. The quality of the department’s drinking water continues to meet the strict standards established by state and federal regulatory agencies.
The report also explains to residents where their water comes from, how the water is treated and disinfected, and who they can contact for more information.
“Our utility performs more than 80,000 tests a year on our drinking water to make sure it is of the highest quality. Our facilities utilize state-of-the-art technologies, and our plants are staffed by dedicated water quality professionals,” said Department Director Bevin A. Beaudet.
The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department is a department of the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, serving approximately 500,000 residents with drinking water, reclaimed water, and wastewater services.
