On June 5, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts, the BCC issued a proclamation recognizing June as Girl Scouts of the USA Month in Palm Beach County. Accepting it from Commissioners Karen Marcus, Paulette Burdick and Shelley Vana are Demi Clemmons, director of programming for the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, Inc. and Mildred Montalvo, program manager.
