County Attorney's Office Feted by Florida Association of County Attorneys

Senior Assistant County Attorney Amy Petrick

Senior Assistant County Attorney Amy Petrick has been honored with this year’s Florida Association of County Attorneys (FACA) President’s Award. Amy was recognized for her extensive, expert work as chair of FACA’s Growth Management Committee in addition to other valuable contributions to FACA and the Florida Association of Counties (FAC). Amy also made a well-received presentation on traffic concurrency during FACA’s annual CLE seminar in Orlando.

And the recognition didn’t stop there.  County Attorney Denise Nieman was presented with FACA’s Ethics in Government Award which is given to attorneys who consistently display the highest level of ethical standards in the practice of law. It is the third time Denise has received this award. FACA previously honored her in 2002 and 2006.
