About 40 residents and municipal representatives attended the 2008 Hurricane Season Update at Palm Beach County's Emergency Operations Center. Commissioner Burt Aaronson was joined by Assistant County Administrator Vince Bonvento, Emergency Management Director Charles Tear, Water Utilities Assistant Director Larry Johnson and Captain Don Delucia, Public Information Officer for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. County officials gave detailed presentations on what procedures would take place before, during and after a storm, as well as storm safety tips.
