Commissioner Bob Kanjian was recently visited by Janet Severt, executive director of New Horizons Service Dogs, Inc., located in Orange City, FL and also West Palm Beach, and Sally D. Chester, R.N., board member of New Horizons.  They asked for the Commissioner’s assistance in finding foster homes with people who could raise and train puppies to become service animals.  In order to make a compelling statement for the need for foster homes, they brought two of their service dogs and one puppy in training to the Commissioner’s office.
