Commissioner Taylor Attends Matchmaker Conference

County Commissioner Priscilla A. Taylor attended the 2009 Palm Beach Partners Business Matchmaker Conference & Expo held on Aug. 4 at the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach.

The goal of the conference was to bring together state, county and local government agencies, major corporations and small businesses to match the many entities needed to participate in major contracts.

The event featured workshops and one-on-one matchmaking opportunities.  Some of the topics discussed included doing business with Palm Beach Partners, where to find funds in an economic downturn and how to sustain a business through tough economic times.
