The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department will host a Community Youth Social for children 6 to 12 years old with developmental disabilities. The event will be held at the Club Managers Association of America Therapeutic Recreation Complex in John Prince Park on Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Parents and participants can learn about Therapeutic Recreation programs, express interest in future programs, meet new people, voice opinions and tour the facility. Activities include football throw, horseshoes and mini golf.
