Pioneer Park Aquatic Center Dedicated

A big crowd turned out on September 9 for the grand opening of the long-awaited Pioneer Park Aquatic Center in Belle Glade. District 6 Commissioner Tony Masilotti, Glades area municipal leaders and County Parks and Recreation officials were on hand for the celebration. The new County facility features three winding water slides, dunk buckets and "fun-brellas." There are also showers and locker rooms, offices and restrooms. The aquatic center will be open on weekends through October 29.
