West Palm Beach, FL – The Clerk & Comptroller’s office recently issued a formal Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) in the Palm Beach Post and Sun Sentinel. Public notice was given that the Clerk & Comptroller’s office is seeking replies for an integrated Payroll/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
The software licensing and maintenance reply shall provide a single source solution to replace the current systems detailed within the ITN. “This large-scale initiative will touch thousands of people, as the Clerk & Comptroller’s system will ultimately generate each paycheck for Clerk & Comptroller employees and Palm Beach County employees,” said Clerk & Comptroller Sharon Bock. “The project is named the ‘Payroll/ERP Project’ since it primarily replaces payroll systems for Clerk & Comptroller and County agencies, and secondly replaces human resources, benefits, and finance systems for the Clerk & Comptroller’s office. The purpose of ERP software is to integrate departments and functions onto a single system that can serve all departments’ needs.”
Sealed replies will be received by the Clerk & Comptroller, Palm Beach County Information Technology Department, no later than 5:00 pm EST, Friday, October 20, 2006.
