Public Invited to “Wing It!” Artist Reception

Palm Beach County’s Art in Public Places program invites the public
to attend an artist reception at the Palm Beach International Airport on Wednesday, September 27, 2006, 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Airport’s Concession Mall, Level 2 Main Terminal, across from Travelers Lounge. Parking is available in Short Term levels 4-7.
With refreshments at hand, guests can mingle with Palm Beach County artists whose collage, photography, paintings and sculpture are featured in Wing It!,which highlights the fascinating fowl that inhabit our waterways and soar through the South Florida skies. Selected works were chosen by Palm Beach County’s Public Art Committee, and the exhibition runs through October 5, 2006. Artworks are for sale.

Wing It! features works by Jane Ambrose and Mary Delaney of Boca Raton; Seymour Holtzman and Deb La-Fogg Docherty of Boynton Beach; Carla Golembe, Karen Rose and Penney Seider of Delray Beach; Robyn Meyers and Arlene Spagna of Greenacres; Gert Olsen of Jupiter; Cynthia Grey of Lake Park; Joe Ciccarelli and Benjamin Kenagen of Lake Worth; Page Lee Hufty Bell of Palm Beach; Rose M. Jackson, Teri Lyman, and Diana Magenheimer of Palm Beach Gardens; Rick R. Evans of Royal Palm Beach; Joan Z. Faber of Singer Island; and Lesley Davison, Karen Knight and Patricia Carey Morse of West Palm Beach.
