Commissioner McCarty Meets With Local Elected Officials to Devise Plan to Help Educate the Public on the Proposed Property Tax Amendment

Commissioner McCarty led the session with mayors, town managers and council members.

All twelve District 4 municipalities were represented at the meeting.

On September 20, 2007 Commissioner McCarty met with elected officials from the municipalities in her district to discuss the proposed property tax amendment.  The meeting was held at the Northern Trust Bank on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.   The purpose of the meeting was to provide an opportunity to share viewpoints, learn about the details of the amendment, discuss critical issues and devise an action plan to educate the public on the amendment.
