Palm Tran CONNECTION to Implement Service Modifications October 1, 2008

Effective October 1, 2008, Transportation Disadvantaged Subsidy (TDS) Program eligible customers using Palm Tran CONNECTION will be required to pay a $2.00 fare for each one-way trip.  The regular service fare for Palm Tran CONNECTION remains $3.00.

Also beginning October 1, non-essential trips provided under both the Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) and TDS Programs will be reduced. This will not affect trips provided for Medical, Employment, Food Shopping, Nutritional, Adult Day Care, Educational or Training purposes.  Trips requested by TD and TDS Program customers for purposes other than those previously listed will be booked on a limited first come, first served basis.
