Village of Palm Springs Teen Center Ribbon Cutting

On September 10, Commissioner Vana along with the Village of Palm Springs Council Members officially opened the new teen center in Palm Springs. The School District of Palm Beach had a surplus of classroom trailers that the Village of Palm Springs felt would fit perfectly for a teen center. This 24' x 35' trailer is ideal to house a summer teen camp as well as after-school and evening programs. The center will serve children with a space of their own where they can gather and recreate in a safe and controlled environment.

After the ribbon cutting, Commissioner Vana visited with the Village Council inside the new teen center. "I am truly pleased that the young people now have a wonderful place to come," Vana said. "I am sure this is a place they will truly enjoy."
