Swearing-in Ceremony for Member of Literacy Americorps

At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Sept. 14, 2010, Commissioner Vana conducted a swearing-in ceremony for members of Literacy AmeriCorps.  The volunteers are from 20 states and will serve here in Palm Beach County at 33 different sites for one year with small stipends.  Pictured above:  Board of County Commissioners with Literacy AmeriCorps volunteers; AmeriCorps Director Audrey McDonough (far left), CEO Darlene Kostrub (second from left), Program Coordinator Brad Hertzberg (far right).
