Palmetto Park Road Project

On Sept. 15, the BCC held a mediation meeting requested by the City of Boca Raton concerning the controversial Palmetto Park Road widening project.  Commissioner Abrams is opposed to the widening of the road through residential neighborhoods and community parks, particularly when the traffic engineers advise that the road will still remain at a deficient level of service.  The outcome of the meeting was to delay the project for the time being and have another round of discussions.
