Effective October 1, 2006, Palm Tran has initiated the following service improvements:
- Route 1 will offer 15-minute service on weekdays for northbound AM trips and southbound PM trips during peak travel hours. Weekend schedules will remain unchanged.
- Route 40 will have an extra trip on weekdays for eastbound AM and westbound PM service during peak hours. Weekend schedules will remain unchanged.
- Route 48 will have a modified schedule to improve transfer connectivity at Third Street & Avenue A.
- Route 62 eastbound at Wellington Regional Medical Center will have an improved schedule for better transfers. Westbound schedules will remain unchanged.
- Route 10 now serves Downtown at the Gardens and has been modified to approach The Gardens mall from PGA Blvd. via Alternate A1A and Gardens Blvd., instead of Fairchild Avenue.
- Route 53 has been added to transport jury panelists from the Palm Beach County Convention Center parking lot to the Palm Beach County Courthouse and back. This route offers weekday morning service only.
