Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control is seeking people who can take a puppy or kitten home for a couple of weeks to save its life. A number of animals coming into the shelter are not yet old enough to be spayed or neutered and placed into the PetPals Adoption program. Some are sick and need to be brought back to good health before being placed into the program.
Because of space and time, Animal Care and Control is not able to keep these young animals at the shelter indefinitely. For anyone interested in fostering, or for more information on the program before making a commitment, sign up for the Foster Care Orientation. The orientation is scheduled for Saturday, October 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Animal Care and Control, 7100 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach. The shelter is located immediately west of the Florida Turnpike.
Call 561-233-1281 to sign up or e-mail pbcacc@pbcgov.com.
