County Hosting Dedication of New District Park

— Area Residents to be Treated to a Preview
of County Pines Recreational Complex
at Samuel Friedland Park —

West area residents will be treated to a sneak preview of Palm Beach County’s newest district park this Saturday, October 14.
Youngsters participating in Acreage Athletic League youth football games will have the opportunity to play on the new ball fields at County Pines Recreational Complex at Samuel Friedland Park all day Saturday, breaking at 10 a.m. for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by County Commission Chairman Tony Masilotti.

This special dedication event will celebrate many new park amenities that will soon be available. County Pines includes four lighted Little League baseball fields, two lighted softball fields, one lighted Pony League field, and three lighted multi-purpose (football/soccer) fields. Also included are a large multi-purpose practice area, a two-story pressbox complex, restrooms, a picnic shelter, parking area, a jogging trail, and a 15-acre lake.

The new 75-acre district park is located at 18500 Hamlin Boulevard (across from Calamondin/185 Ave. N) in northwestern Loxahatchee.
