The Palm Beach County Cooperative Extension Service and Palm Beach Community College (PBCC) are teaming up to provide an exciting one-day non-credit continuing education course on Florida’s Surface Water Quality and the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) program.
The course is designed for environmental professionals, community leaders, and interested citizens. Participants will learn about surface water quality standards, identification of impaired waters, and the Clean Water Act’s framework for restoring polluted waters. Special attention will be paid to Florida’s TMDL program and Palm Beach County’s Lake Worth Lagoon basin.
