Commissioner Resumes Meetings with District IV Residents and Officials

On October 14, 2009, County Commissioner Steven L. Abrams met with approximately 90 local municipal officials and residents in three separate sessions from all geographic areas of the district for informal discussions on various issues of mutual concern and interest.   Several topics were discussed such as proposed ethics legislation, the inland port and the county’s participation in the South Florida Super Bowl.

“As a county commissioner, I am committed to keeping an open dialogue with municipal leaders and local residents,” said Abrams.   “These informal meetings are one of many initiatives that provide me with an opportunity to keep in touch with our community leaders and residents,” he added.
