Palm Tran Announces Changes to Route 70, Effective November 1

At the October 15 meeting of the Palm Tran Service Board (PTSB), the following changes to Route 70 were discussed and approved: 

• The bus stop at Atlantic Avenue and Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach is no longer a time point.  Passengers will still be able to board at this stop.  The schedule has been adjusted to reflect the change. 
• Buses on Route 70 will no longer enter the Plaza at Delray shopping center.

These changes take effect November 1, 2009.

The PTSB meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Clayton Hutcheson Agricultural Center to discuss Palm Tran operations and future plans.
