The Palm Beach County Economic Development Office will join local organizations and businesses in exhibiting at Palm Beach State College’s third annual Green Expo. The event will take place on the Lake Worth campus this Saturday, October 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to the public.

There will be multiple sustainable and green living workshops held throughout the day on a variety of green subjects. The seminars are free, and the exhibitors will be available to speak with attendees.

Palm Beach County Economic Development Office (EDO) will be highlighting its 12 countywide energy efficiency projects which are supported by a $6.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. There will also be information available on the upcoming Revolving Energy Fund, part of the EECBG program. The Revolving Energy Fund will offer local businesses and nonprofit economic development organizations low-interest loans to conduct energy efficiency retrofits to their buildings.

The Green Expo is dedicated to connecting you with local organizations, businesses, valuable resources and information. Learn easy ways to help save our planet! Please join us at this year’s event.
