On Oct. 20, 2010, Commissioner Vana attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the Publix Supermarket that is being built in Lake Worth on 2nd Ave North and Dixie Highway.

The building of this Publix is bringing in much needed construction jobs and will produce approximately 90 permanent jobs once the store is opened.

The grand opening is to be announced.
