New Stadium in Boca Raton Draws Thousands

On Friday, Oct. 14, Commissioner Abrams joined legendary Coach Howard Schnellenberger and other officials for the grand-opening celebration of the 30,000 seat, $70 million Florida Atlantic University stadium in Boca Raton.  Thousands turned out for the opening ceremony and Owl’s game.  Palm Beach County is proud to be the home of the new on-campus, state-of-the-art FAU stadium which will have a positive impact on the surrounding communities for many years to come.
