Life-Size Bronze Busts Honor Veterans

On Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 9:30 a.m., five life-sized bronze busts will be dedicated as part of an annual Veterans Day ceremony at Palm Beach County’s Veterans Park in Boca Raton.
Supported by Commissioner Burt Aaronson’s Recreation Assistance Program funds, and coordinated by Palm Beach County’s Art in Public Places program, artist and Air Force veteran Harrison Covington was commissioned to create realistic busts to memorialize the men and women of Palm Beach County who have served our country as officers in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.
