County to Open Cold Weather Shelters

The Palm Beach County Department of Public Safety’s Division of Emergency Management has activated the Cold Weather Emergency Shelter Plan for all of Palm Beach County.
The cold weather emergency shelters will be open beginning at 7:00 P.M., November 21. Residents seeking refuge from the cold should call the Crisis Line at 561-383-1111 (211).
The National Weather Service predicts overnight wind-chill temperatures to drop below 40o F in Palm Beach County. The County E.O.C. will continue to monitor weather developments and make announcements on any further shelter openings as necessary.
