Commissioner Abrams Thanks Local Residents for Generous Contributions

On November 5, 2009, Commissioner Abrams joined the staff and residents from the Broken Sound community in Boca Raton to thank them for their generous donations benefitting the animals sheltered at the county’s Animal Care and Control Division and Tri-County Humane Society.   Over the past few weeks, cash and much needed items such as food, blankets and toys were donated by members of the staff and community.  In addition, 25 gift certificates were donated by a local veterinarian, Dr. Flavia Tompkins of Boca Village Animal Hospital.
