The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department will perform routine maintenance at a master lift station on Haverhill Road just south of Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach from Tuesday, November 10 to Tuesday, November 17.
During this time, expect to see large equipment and emergency lighting. There may be traffic delays. Residents are asked to avoid Haverhill Road just south of Okeechobee Boulevard during this period.
On the evening of Tuesday, November 17, the lift station will be completely shut down for approximately four hours to replace a major valve. During that evening, the residents of Lake Worth, Palm Springs, Lake Clarke Shores, Atlantis and Manalapan are asked to curtail their in-home water use as to avoid overloading the wastewater system.
The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department is a department of the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, serving approximately 505,000 residents with drinking water, reclaimed water and wastewater services.
