Abrams Attends Ceremony Honoring Local Veterans

On November 11, 2009, Commissioner Abrams attended a Veteran's Day celebration at Bicentennial Park in Boynton Beach. The event was hosted by the City of Boynton Beach, the Boynton Veteran's Council and Consul General of France Gael de Maisonneuve. The celebration commemorated the completion of the new World War I monument and the awarding of the French Legion of Honor to selected local veterans who fought to liberate France during World War II.
