Abrams Hosts Students Affiliated with the Archer Disability Foundation

On November 17, 2009, Commissioner Abrams hosted local students affiliated with the Archer Disability Foundation (ADF). ADF is a community outreach organization that offers educational programs for students and veterans with disabilities, assisting them in obtaining employment opportunities with local businesses and government agencies.

The students met with representatives from the county’s Human Resources and Equal Opportunity departments and were provided with insightful information on hiring policies, procedures and other pertinent information.  They also spent some time observing the Board of County Commissioners meeting.
