Commissioner Commends Boca Pointe CERT Volunteers

On November 18, 2009, Commissioner Abrams met with volunteer members of the Boca Pointe Certified Emergency Response Team (CERT) to thank them for their commitment and dedication.   CERT volunteers receive ongoing training from local public safety officials to provide assistance within their community during an emergency situation.  The role of CERT team members is a vital one and ensures the safety of community residents.   

Over 50 of Boca Pointe’s CERT members were presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the commissioner for their volunteer efforts.
