Palm Beach County’s Art in Public Places program invites the public to attend an artist reception at the Palm Beach International Airport on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Airport’s Concession Mall, Level 2 Main Terminal, across from Travelers Lounge. Parking is available in Short Term levels 4-7.
With refreshments at hand, guests can mingle with Palm Beach County artists whose photography, paintings and mixed media works stimulate our imagination through color and light. The exhibition runs through June 6, 2007. Selected works were chosen by Palm Beach County’s Public Art Committee. Artworks are for sale.
Reflections & Refractions features works by local artists Jane Bazinet, Elliott Block, Malcolm D. Gropper, Cynthia Merzer, Mark Reichert and Cookie Schwartz of Boca Raton; Seymour Holtzman of Boynton Beach; Carolyn Barth and Kevin Rouse of Delray Beach; Irina Ponomareva of Palm Beach Gardens; and Maria Amatulli, Kathryn Fox-Winokur, Richard W. Halterman, Brennan King, Karen Knight, Monica Kustra, Cheryl Maeder, Marc Meyer, Daniel Neumann and Patricia Whiting of West Palm Beach.
Through a grant from Palm Beach County’s Cultural Council, HMS Host helps support Palm Beach County’s Art in Public Places exhibition at the Palm Beach International Airport, Destination: Culture. Selected works are exhibited for four months, with changing cultural and travel themes for every exhibition.
