New Interlocal Agreement Streamlines Small Business Certification Process

The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, the School Board of Palm Beach County and the City of West Palm Beach are pleased to announce a tri-party interlocal agreement that should significantly simplify the certification process for small business enterprises.

The new procedure reduces the volume of paperwork required when small and minority/women business owners seek certification with the County, the City or the School Board. When seeking certification with any of these three agencies, small business owners may now apply to one agency and their application data will be accepted through the submittal of the Multi-Agency Cover Sheet, eliminating a time-consuming step. If one of the other entities requires additional documentation, it too must be supplied by the small business owners.
