Commissioner McCarty Attends Earth Day Event - "No Butts About It"

Participants picked up several bags of cigarette butts and other trash.

      Commissioner Mary McCarty was pleased to participate in the launching of the County's new program combating discarded cigarette butts and other litter on County-operated beaches on Earth Day, Saturday, April 21.  The event was held at Ocean Inlet Park in Boynton Beach.  In addition to picking up trash, participants enjoyed fun and educational activities for children and parents alike.
