BCC Public Hearing July 10 for Proposed Palm Tran Fare Changes

The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on July 10, 2007 for the purpose of receiving comments regarding proposed fare changes to both Palm Tran’s fixed-route bus system and Palm Tran Connection’s paratransit service. If adopted, the fare changes would become effective October 1, 2007.

The public hearing will be held:

Date: Tuesday, July 10, 2007
Time: 9:30 a.m.
Location: 6th Floor Commission Chambers
301 N. Olive Avenue
West Palm Beach, Florida 33401

Interested parties may submit comments in advance of the hearing by calling 561-841-4360, by sending an email to ptph@pbcgov.com, or by writing to our office at 3201 Electronics Way, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.

Those completing a comment card prior to the public hearing will be afforded the opportunity to be heard or submit written comments with respect to the proposed fare changes.

A detailed description of the proposed fare changes is available on Palm Tran’s Web site. Go to www.palmtran.org, click on Meetings in the drop-down menu at the top, then select Public Meetings. The proposed changes are also available for public inspection at Palm Tran’s administrative office located at 3201 Electronics Way, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
