Service Modifications Proposed for October 2007

Palm Tran’s Service Board (PTSB) is proposing to implement service modifications to the fixed-route bus system beginning October 1, 2007. The following changes have been tentatively approved by the PTSB:

Route 5 and Route 42

• discontinue Saturday service

Route 40

• Certain mid-day trips Monday through Saturday between the Mall at Wellington Green and downtown West Palm Beach will be eliminated.

Route 92

• Discontinue service east of US-1 (E Palmetto Park Road, Hillsboro Blvd., A1A)
• Discontinue service on US-1 south of SE 15th Street
• Re-establish service on NW 12th Avenue north of Palmetto Park Road to Boca Community Hospital
• Discontinue Sunday service.
