Public Shooting Park Meeting Scheduled for August 16

Palm Beach County and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission

A meeting on the proposed public shooting park is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. at the Clayton Hutcheson Agricultural Center located at 559 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach.

The meeting will be jointly hosted by the Board of County Commissioners Facilities Development and Operations Department and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

This meeting is a follow-up to the workshop held on June 12, 2007, soliciting comments from the public regarding the desired amenities and range features of the proposed public shooting park. The purpose of the meeting is to present a conceptual layout, operating models and cost estimates for development based on the comments received from the public.
