Charitable Organizations Discussed at September Community Forum

Commissioner Santamaria opens the discussion on local charitable organizations.

Commissioner Jess Santamaria welcomed residents and representatives of several local charitable organizations to his monthly Community Forum at the original Wellington Mall on September 19.

Invited speakers included Connie Berry, president and founder of the Caridad Center; Diana Stanley, executive director of the Lord’s Place; Sherry Jackson, CEO and president of ILUS (Improving the Lives of the Underprivileged and Seniors); Patrice Schroeder, assistant director of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast 2-1-1; Fred Eisinger, executive director of Seagull Industries; Charles Falana, community liaison for the Sickle Cell Foundation of PBC, Inc.; Mary O’Conner, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County; and Dr. Farock Jiveh, board member of My Brother’s/Sister’s Keepers Charitable Trust.
