October is Talk About Prescriptions month. Many medications look alike and their names sound alike. Improper storage and administration of medicines can lead to lessened effectiveness and possible poisoning. Did you know, for example, that medicines should not be stored in your bathroom?
The Palm Beach County Cooperative Extension Service has been conducting workshops titled, “Taking Medications Safely,” at various County branch library locations. Dates and locations for upcoming workshops are:
